Course Summary

This degree programme will equip you with the skills and knowledge to enter a wide variety of rewarding careers in Sport and Sport Science. You will study the physiological, bio-mechanical, strength and conditioning and psychological influences on human performance during the preparation for, and participation in sport and exercise. The programme of study has been specially designed so that graduates can progress directly into a working environment. The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) automatically approves graduates of the programme for Level 2 Gym Instruction in year 1 and Level 3 Personal Trainer in year 2. Additionally, the degree prepares students to undertake the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) assessment after graduation.
