Computing is at the forefront of everyday life in the 21st century, evolving at a fast rate. The ability to adapt with the industry and to understand different computing systems could lead to a variety of interesting tech-based careers.
At Farnborough, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to succeed in an IT environment. Not only will you develop skills specific to IT, you will also develop behaviours for work, for example by undertaking a group project or responding to a client brief. As part of the course you will earn vendor qualifications including CISCO CCNA part 1, which is recognised by employers.
An HNC in Computing will allow you to study key areas of computing before moving onto a Higher National Diploma in your second year, where specialist pathways are available.

This computing programme is for those with a passion to study and work in the exciting world of information technology. The modules introduce you to the core concepts of programming and networking essentials including protocols, security and how they operate. You will develop an understanding of database design and development and improve on your knowledge of security, the risks and how a security breach can impact on an organisation.
