Course Summary

Our highly ranked Politics department offers an exciting range of programmes at both the Streatham Campus in Exeter and at our Penryn Campus in Cornwall. Publishing in world-leading outlets, we conduct research on a wide range of fascinating issues such as extremist propaganda, authoritarian systems, climate change politics, and use cutting-edge methods such as brain imaging, big data analysis, and experimental approaches. From the rise of emerging powers to the fundamental threat of climate change, from unprecedented challenges to international institutions to the re-emergence of nationalisms, today’s political environment is ridden with uncertainty and anxieties. Studying Politics and International Relations has therefore never been so timely. The department of Management is equally committed to advancing theory and working with industry to achieve practical solutions to their most important issues. Our research focuses on: Leadership, Well-being, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing and International Business. Studying abroad gives you great experience of international cultures, values and languages which can crucially enhance your professional skill set especially when entering the international graduate job market. Being able to demonstrate an understanding of other cultures, global politics, and the ability to communicate across languages and cultures is a huge benefit in any role and will really help set you apart during the recruitment process. Living and studying in a new country will naturally enhance your adaptability, cross-cultural communication, self-confidence, resilience, and will stimulate creative thinking. Studying abroad in a different country with students from all around the world is also a great way to build and expand your global network of friends and professional contacts.
