Mathematics with Economics utilises the expertise from both the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and The Business School. This mathematics degree enables you to also explore modern economics, including topics from inflation to the control of monopoly power, and from the study of developing countries to the finance of multinational companies. This degree programme reflects that breadth of interest in a flexible course designed to suit you if you wish to study a broad curriculum or to specialise in a particular area. Standard Qualification Requirements

A in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics required.

Applicants will be considered with IB 36-34 OR 666 or 665 in three Higher Level Subjects. All applicants will be required to have Grade 6 in HL Maths (Analysis and Approaches).

Excluding General Studies. Grade A in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics required.

Pass the Access to HE Diploma with 30 L3 credits at Distinction grade and 15 L3 credits at Merit Grade.To include 15 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in an acceptable Mathematics subject area.
