You gain the skills in technical theatre and film production and as well studying the theory that underpins film and drama. You cover gender, identity, human rights, tragedy, devising, playwriting, directing, screenwriting, screen media and cinema.
What makes us different? You don't just study film and drama as separate disciplines. We offer modules which bring the disciplines of film and drama together. Our modules Directing Actors for Film and Introduction to Screenwriting give you a seamless mix of both film and drama so you can excel throughout the screen and the stage.
Our staff have extensive experience in theatre and film and are actively directing, writing, producing and shooting.
You spend your third year on a placement gaining relevant work experience within an external business or organisation, giving you a competitive edge in the graduate job market and providing you with key contacts within the industry.
