Standard Qualification Requirements

Other HNC subjects may be considered for year 1 entry where a B in the graded unit is achieved.

GCSE Grade C or 4 in English is required and GCSE Maths is recommended.

National 5 C in English is required and National 5 Maths is recommended. If you are eligible for an adjusted offer under our Contextual Admissions Policy, please see the ‘Minimum Qualification Requirements’ below.

Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 39 Credits at Merit & 6 Distinction. English at Level 2 or equivalent also required. Maths at Level 2 or equivalent is recommended.

Minimum grades DM (Distinction, Merit) and A Level grade C. GCSE grade C/4 in English and GCSE Maths is recommended.

Award of Diploma with 27 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4. 4 points in SL English is required. SL Maths is recommended.

Minimum grades MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit). GCSE Grade C or 4 in English is required and GCSE Maths is recommended.

Grades H2, H3, H3, H3 at Higher Level. Grade O4 at Ordinary Level in English is required. Ordinary Level Maths is recommended.

Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements HNC - Pass in Tourism/Travel & Tourism with B in the graded unit. SQA Advanced Higher - BBC A Level - BBB Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements HND - Pass in Tourism/Travel & Tourism with Grades B at SCQF Level 8 in the graded units.
