The course is informed by staff’s own research in the field of criminology and criminal justice Criminology is the study of crime, explanations for crime and social reactions to crime. As an interdisciplinary social science subject, criminology draws on a range of perspectives, for example sociology, psychology and law. Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 30 Credits at Merit & 15 Distinction to include English or a Literary subject* at Level 3. Maths required at Level 2 or equivalent.

Award of Diploma with 29 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 5 including English or a Literary subject* at minimum grade 5. 4 points in SL Maths.

Minimum grades DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit) in a related subject. GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths.

Including English or a Literary subject* Grade O4 at Ordinary Level in Maths.
