If you are looking for a programme designed specifically for those who wish to pursue a career in sports therapy, which has a strong practical emphasis underpinned by solid theoretical knowledge, then this is the course for you. A four-year integrated Masters degree, it combines undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single qualification to provide you with the skills and knowledge to help injured athletes recover through rehabilitation and return to competitive sport. At Masters level, in the final year, you will consolidate and refine your sports therapy competencies and expertise through applied practice and advanced research. There will also be opportunities to diversify your skill-set through the study of vocational issues such as strength and conditioning and mental health awareness. Practical experience working with clients in our on-campus clinic is a key feature of the programme. On graduation you will be eligible for membership of The Society of Sports Therapists, which carries professional indemnity insurance.
