Course Summary

Be on the frontline of healthcare and cross traditional role boundaries, becoming eligible to register as both a qualified adult nurse and a paramedic on graduation. This innovative and distinctive integrated Masters degree will enable you to forge your own identity as a nurse paramedic and become a flexible and dynamic practitioner with an enhanced level of person-centred care. You will develop the knowledge and expertise to work as an adult nurse and a paramedic with skills underpinned by critical decision-making and the capacity for autonomous practice. The first and last year of the programme will be taught at the Edge Hill University campus, while years two and three are delivered at our St James’ site in central Manchester. Placements and simulated learning are key features of each year of study, ensuring you encounter a wide variety of professional settings in healthcare and beyond, to achieve an enhanced level of practice.
